Tapas, or small plates, is an Hispanic tradition, and Aventura is the newest of the crop of tapas restaurants in the area. Aventura bills itself as "modern Spanish tapas," and is located in one of Ann Arbor's oldest downtown buildings. Dinner and a Sunday brunch are served, as well as cocktails and alcoholic beverages – try the sangria (either the de Tinto, Blanca or Espinosa). Tapas are best done with a group, and make sure to buy enough dishes to share, as the dishes normally aren't very large. This way, you can mix and match and see what you like the best, as well.
