Designated as a national historic site as well as a California historic landmark, the Adamson House is a one-of-a-kind outdoor venue for an early fall wedding. From April through October, brides, grooms and their guests can celebrate together on the gorgeous oceanfront property. While weddings are solely held on the grounds outside, an "open" house tour is available during the cocktail hour (additional fee is added on) for guests to view the house's hand-carved wood doors, hand-painted murals and beautiful stained glass windows. The property was owned by Merritt Huntley Adamson, one of the early pioneer descendants who came west in Conestoga wagons to Oregon.

The Hidden Chateau & Gardens, named an historical cultural monument in 1974 by the Los Angeles Cultural Heritage Commission, offers Old Spanish charm rooted in Southern California's mission history. Set upon 1.5 acres, the gardens, cobblestone pathways, water fountains, archways, gazebo, pergola (a sweet spot for exchanging vows) and native plants replicate the style of the original California missions. Hidden Chateau & Gardens works with Bella Donna Special Events for catering needs up to 250 guests. Built in 1934 by silent movie actor Francis Lederer and his wife Marion, this property was originally constructed as a horse stable for Marion's horse.
