This hidden gem tucked away in an unassuming strip mall happens to be one of the most sought-after studios in the metroplex. It is also one of the most low key, so much so that there isn't a website, nor does it keep its Facebook page up to date. But don't let that deter you because the studio's top tattoo artists, Dru Bias and Will Card, are some of the best in the area with their craft. This isn't the kind of place where you pick out a tattoo off the wall. What you will get here is a warm welcome and an incredible high-end design that will definitely leave you in awe. Saints and Sinners also has an equally awesome studio on Davis Street in Oak Cliff.

www.blinktattoos.com The lofty studio that houses Blink Tattoos is not your typical tattoo shop and neither is the one-of-a-kind body art that owner Viet Nguyen creates. The specialty here is black and gray ink, color, portraits and Asian-style designs. Nguyen's incredibly intricate patterns range from whimsical flowers to full cover fantastical scenes. Don't expect to walk in or get a speedy appointment though. Good things here come to those who wait.Related: Best Places For Ear Piercings In DFW

The skilled tattoo artists at Stainless Studios specialize in a variety of ink techniques, the only problem you'll have here is deciding who to choose. Artist/owner Rob Holland's vivid color realism tattoos are impressive, but his neo-traditional and Japanese designs are also equally spectacular. Corgill's the man when it comes to ornate tattoos and if you like his body art, you should see his paintings. For black and grey or surreal inking, check out Rob Smith's portfolio. And Daniel Ovalle is brilliant with his traditional and neo-traditional artistry as well. Expect to pay around $120-$150 per hour here, but you can get in on tattoo specials by following the studio's blog posts and Twitter feeds.

www.allabouthenna.com If you just want to take a test drive or be adorned for a special occasion, then Surinder Marbha can fix you up with a stunning traditional Indian-style Mehndi tattoo. Although henna body art isn't technically tattooing, as it is applied without needles, the designs last longer than most other forms of temporary tattoos. The non-toxic dye from the henna is combined with sugar and oil to increase its longevity. The design will eventually wear off as the top layer of skin exfoliates—usually within one to three weeks. You can choose from any of the exquisite patterns in the shop's database or have something customized to your specifications. Marbha also sells henna body art kits for those who want to create their own tattoos whenever they like.Related: Best Places For A Brazilian Blowout In DFW
