Cookie dough — what’s not to love about it? It’s commonly found in cookies, cakes, and ice cream, but many of us eat it right out the container. You’ve probably heard that the raw eggs in cookie dough can make you sick, but that doesn’t stop it from being delicious. When we’re eating, we don’t care about the risks — we just want cookie dough.
Warning: This cookie dough from Food.com’s recipe may not make it to the oven:
1 cup soft butter
1 ½ cups brown sugar, packed
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
½ teaspoon salt
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon water
1 (6-ounce) package mini chocolate chips
Cream the butter and sugar together.
Add the remaining ingredients and mix well by hand.
Now you have delicious cookie dough to eat all day long. You can even roll it into balls and freeze for 30 minutes for bite-sized truffles. Cookie dough lovers, rejoice.
