Beer tastings reign supreme at this celebratory event; everyone can try different varieties to find their favorite. With over 450 craft beers from more than 60 Michigan breweries, there may many top contenders. Musicians will be offering up some fine reverb while local restaurants will be slinging their delectable wares. Fall doesn't get any better than this.

Atwater in the Park is a church that has been transformed into a German beer garden. It does not get better than this. Beer and brats reign supreme at this brew pub with the community feel. Conversation flows at this spot. Long benches can handle a crowd and in a minute, you'll be sharing a beer (or two) with newfound friends. Step outside onto the garden patio and don't worry about the cold because the outdoor heaters will take care of that. Atwater serves special limited batches brewed on site, so settle in with a microbrew and a giant pretzel. Oh, and definitely bring out the lederhosen for this one, because there will be bands – can you say "Oompa!"
