LAMILL Coffee is a swanky little venue located in the Four Seasons in the Inner Harbor area. With a flavorful menu that would make Starbucks green with envy, possibly the best drink to order during the humid Baltimore summers would be the iced coffee. Unlike other coffees, this particular beverage is slow-brewed in cold water, a process that makes the frozen drink smoother and less acidic than its heated brother. Top this off with a simple-yet-complimentary syrup, and you've got a drink that is so perfectly balanced, it may just become your favorite summer indulgence.

Zia's is one of the increasing number of local cafés that strive to offer organic, non-processed food and drinks to an increasingly health-conscious world. One of the best treats is its diverse menu of smoothies. While the entire menu is filled with creative and delicious flavors, possibly the most flavorful and unique is the Nutty Banana, a frozen blend of organic peanut butter, bananas and dates all sweetened with a creamy almond milk. If you want a sweet summer treat while still watching your health, Zia's is just the place to go.

Perhaps you want to step up your frozen drink indulgence to a more adult level; in which case, you could do little better than Abbey's Spiked Shake. A favorite of Abbey's patrons, this spiked dessert drink mixes up a few scoops of Gifford's vanilla ice cream in an old-fashioned milkshake machine; adding Stoli Vanilla and Godiva liqueurs. The indulgence doesn't stop there, though, as this drink is then served up with delicious Berger cookies. This drink is a great stand-alone dessert, or the perfect finish to one of Abbey's many delicious entrées. Want to try it more responsibly? Abbey Burger Bistro offers its shakes virgin as well.

Appealing to the die-hard Baltimore sports fans, this frozen treat is spiked with none other than purple grape vodka. Stalking Horse slushies are served in half-pint plastic cups; just enough to indulge yourself without risking brain freeze. They are also sweet enough to be appealing without being so sweet they sour your stomach. It's safe to say that the Stalking Horse has perfected the art of adult slushies.
