Ryleigh's Oyster
36 E. Cross St.
Baltimore, Md. 21230

Both Ryleigh's Oyster and The Orange Crush are Maryland favorites. Ryleigh's Oyster is a favorite because of the tasty appetizers, bar food and, of course, oyster dishes. The Orange Crush is popular because it is a refreshing, citrus drink as popular as the soda bearing the same name. Put these two favorites together, and you have a must-visit Baltimore experience. The Orange Crush is a blend of ice, orange-flavored vodka, triple sec, juiced oranges and Sprite, served up with an orange slice on the side. And yes, it actually goes pretty well with oysters.
No Idea Tavern
1649 S. Hanover St.
Baltimore, Md. 21230
(410) 685-4332

Like most people in Baltimore, the No Idea Tavern clings to its fanhood and holds out hope for the Orioles. In honor of the perennial home team of America's pastime, No Idea has created a very special drink: the Machadomosa (in case you don't get the name, this is a mimosa that pays tribute to third baseman Manny Machado). As is only proper, the Machadomosa glows a healthy orange color in respect to the team it represents. This color is achieved by the orange juice used to flavor it. Its other components are Freixenet Brut champagne and Stolichnaya vodka. Throw all of this in a slushie machine, and you've got yourself a buzz with a side of brainfreeze. Finally, you can quench your thirst, take the edge off and cool off all while saluting Baltimore baseball.
RA Sushi

When thinking of frozen cocktails, a sushi bar is probably not the first location that springs to mind. However, RA Sushi's rotating menu of frozen drinks proves that it stands apart when it comes to offering chilled beverages. With a menu in constant flux, it's difficult to pick a drink to spotlight. Fortunately, RA has already done that for us with its signature "Fuzzy Momo Bellini," which is always being served, no matter what else happens to be on the menu. As a cocktail, the bellini has a storied Italian tradition. RA takes this classic drink to the next level by serving it frozen, with its own unique blend of sparkling and white wines, Bacardi Rum, yuzu, peach and strawberry purée.

Rosario's Italian Kitchen
7301 Pulaski Highway
Rosedale, Md. 21237
(410) 866-6181
www.rosariosbaltimore.com
Rosario's is a bustling locale spicing up the otherwise lackluster Rosedale restaurant scene. Its menu offers plentiful and diverse options, and the cocktails are no exception. Visitors may choose from such tasty tonics as the "blue voodoo," the "wildberry paradise" and the "banana cabana." There are also fresh fruit frozen smoothies for the kids. For your money, however, the best of the menu has to be the "Strawberry Shortcake." This imaginative treat is made from a mix of Amaratto Liqueur, vanilla ice cream and strawberry fresh fruit mix. For the hot summer months, not only is a strawberry shortcake appropriate for the season, but it is also the perfect thing to cool down on a lazy summer afternoon.
Mex
Power Plant Live!
26 Market Place
Baltimore, Md. 21202
(410) 528-0128
www.mexbaltimore.com
The Mex, located in the Power Plant Live! in the Inner Harbor, is an atmospheric watering hole with a party vibe that frequently hosts live musical events for entertainment. "All fiesta, No siesta" is its motto. Although Mex offers a variety of menu items – all Mexican-themed food – the drinks are the real draw. The Mex offers a handful of frozen drinks, but the standout would definitely be the Mexican Swirly: a special blend of frozen margarita and frozen strawberry daiquiris which is as much a frozen treat as it is a libation. Come on out during one of the musical events to enjoy the full atmosphere of the bar along with the delicious drinks.
