For those of you who work from home, sometimes it's nice to get out of the house and bring your work to the local coffee shop. But which are the best around town? Check out this list.
Plymouth Coffee Bean
884 Penniman Ave.

The Plymouth Coffee Bean is Michigan's longest-running independent coffee shop, and has been voted Best Coffee House by Hour Magazine, the Detroit Free Press and AOL. It serves up made-to-order crepes if you get hungry, and you can choose a favorite preset or create your own concoction. The shop also has breakfast, sandwich and dessert menus, which include green eggs and ham, a black bean burger and homemade cookies, among other bites. Choose to sit in the Sun Room, Cloud Room or Green Room; if you're seeking quiet, the Green Room is the place to go.

Try the spicy BBQ pork and avocado wrap ($9.50), the Caprese sandwich ($7.95) or the ham and smoked gouda ($8.50), and don't forget about the breakfast menu, too. The coffee shop's interior is large and inviting, and is perfect for getting work done on the go.
