Experience

Katherine has been a writer her entire life and has been employed as a writer and editor for over 10 years. Her first original poem was published in her hometown newspaper in second grade, and her sixth-grade teacher referred to her as "The Human Dictionary." A spelling bee champ and self-professed "word nerd," her poetry has been featured in local and national publications since high school. As an accomplished professional musician and songwriter, she has written over 30 songs and released an album of original songs titled "From Boston." She has sung (and survived) at Harlem's famed Apollo Theater Amateur Night twice. In the last decade, Katherine has worked as an editor in edtech, e-commerce, and as a freelancer. She has edited everything from children's books to PhD dissertations and written about ways to spend a memorable day in Lake George as well as how to choose the best harp. Katherine is also currently writing a work of fiction.

Education

Katherine has a Bachelor of Music from Boston's esteemed Berklee College of Music, and a Master of Science from Quinnipiac University.
