Experience

Ash has worked as a professional writer for eight years. During this time, she has followed her palate around 25 countries and learnt to cook a whole array of cuisines using whatever local produce is available. As an Asian cuisine specialist, she used to run a boutique curry club in Bali. Ash is passionate about sustainable eating and designed the food programme at Goa's first zero-waste festival, Wildbiyoo. For five years, she worked as the head of content and community at Gemtrack Travel, where she wrote features on alternative local restaurants in Goa, Sri Lanka, Bali, and Lombok. Ash is eager to share her vast multicultural culinary expertise with the readership at Static Media.

Education

Ash has a B.A. in international relations from the Symbiosis School for Liberal Arts.
