Airstream Announces New 24-Foot Mercedes Touring Coach Just In Time For Your Next Road Adventure
Airstream announced today that they are adding another model to their touring couch lineup, the new Interstate Grand Tour. Promising tons of space to please any discerning luxury traveler, the auto has plenty of counter space, storage, a workspace and optional screen doors. Plus, this one isn't overwhelming in size, which makes it great for a first-time buyer or for someone looking for a cozier luxury coach.
"The Interstate Grand Tour provides everything a couple needs for a comfortable and convenient life on the open road," says Airstream CEO and President Bob Wheeler. "For more than 80 years, Airstream travel trailers have enabled people to explore the romance of the world around them. The new Grand Tour embraces that spirit of adventure in a modern, perfectly sized, premium touring coach."

The Interstate Grand Tour uses the Interstate EXT for foundation, bringing in everything you need for an adventure on the road. It's 24 feet long, 9.8 feet tall, and handles like a car so you won't have to worry about adapting to driving a huge camper. Like all of Airstream's models, the Interstate Grand Tour is built on a heavy-duty Mercedes-Benz Sprinter chassis, getting great fuel economy and driving range.
Inside you will find UltraLeather seats, a rear sofa that converts into a six-foot double bed, Corian counters, LED lighting, a refrigerator and freezer, large bathroom with a shower, Kenwood Multimedia Entertainment System, and twin high definition LED televisions. If you don't like the fabric and colors seen in the photos, there is a pretty big range of combinations so you can customized the overall aesthetic however you would like.
The new Interstate starts at $146,300 and hits the market in September.
