Texas has more trucks than any other state; only the military has more. Truck ownership is so praised that in this musical by Doug Wright, Amanda Green and Trey Anastasio, 10 Texans struggle to endure days of scorching sun in the hopes to win a new truck. In order to do so, they must keep at least one hand on the truck. This musical explores the characters and how it represents a new lease on life for each of them.
