2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Debuts At Monterey Classic Car Week
Our friends over at Bader TV shared with us this great video starring the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray. Making its debut at the 2013 Monterey Classic Car Week in Marina, CA, the Stingray showed off its triple threat design: the comfort of a long distance car, infotainment and connectedness needed for daily use, and the braking, grip and acceleration of a race car.
This model is supposedly the most powerful Corvette yet, with an estimated 450 hp and 450 lb/ft of torque, it can charge forward from zero to 60 in under four seconds. Even better is that the Stingray is expected to improve upon the current model's EPA highway fuel economy of 26 mpg. The car features a cluster display that has up to 69 sources of information (including a tire tread display), prioritizing information the driver needs on a daily basis — whether it's on a cross-country road trip, a quick trip to the grocery store, or on a race track.
