Whole Foods Product Review: Artichoke Spinach Four Cheese Dip
Bad artichoke spinach dips are few and far between, but extremely tasty dips are just as difficult to find — and Whole Foods' artichoke spinach four cheese dip certainly falls into the latter category. The masterminds at Whole Foods artfully married the classic combination of artichokes and spinach with a mixture of Italian cheeses. Romano, Parmesan, mozzarella, provolone, and a hint of garlic combine to create a robust and decadent flavor.
Now, this dip can be served cold which makes it have a more dense texture, but here at TDM we preferred it warm. Spooning out a bit of the dip on a plate and zapping it in the microwave for about 30 seconds gives the dip an entirely different character.
With the cheese melted, the dip has a smooth texture and the flavors reach a new height. This dip can easily be served on tortilla chips or these light and buttery crackers.
