Waffle House Customer Pulls Knife Over Lack Of Pie

A craving can be a powerful force, and this weekend one customer found himself wanting a slice of pie so badly that he actually pulled a knife on the waitress who told him he couldn't have any.

According to the Albuquerque Journal, the 41-year-old customer stopped by a Waffle House for breakfast Friday morning. Breakfast reportedly passed without unpleasantness, but after the man finished his meal he decided he wanted a slice of pie, and then got very angry when the waitress said the pies were all still frozen and could not yet be served. He allegedly picked up the steak knife he had been eating with and threatened the waitress, and when police arrived at the scene he allegedly attacked one of them, too.

The man was reportedly arrested and is in jail, having been charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and battery on a peace officer.
