Ingredients
- 1 cup unsweetened cocoa, preferably organic and fair trade, such as lake champlain
- 3 cup flour
- 2 cup sugar
- 2 1/3 cup warm water
- 2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/4 cup melted butter
- 2 tablespoon vinegar
- 2 teaspoon vanilla
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
- Mix all of the dry ingredients together in a large bowl. Stir in the wet ingredients. Beat until smooth. Butter a tube cake pan and dust with flour. Bake for 1 hour or until toothpick is removed dry.
