Around the world there are hotels created entirely from ice and snow for the duration of the cold winter months. These hotels are not only a means to experience something unique, but they’re also grand pieces of art to admire.
One ice hotel in Sweden has created a second hotel, called Icehotel 365, which will be open all year long for the first time this year (this will be interesting to see come summertime). Other places, such as Norway’s Kirkenes Snowhotel or Sorrisniva Igloo Hotel, are far enough north that you can see the Northern Lights during your visit.
So grab your warmest coats and gear, and escape the mundane at one of the world’s 10 coolest (literally) ice hotels.
