Spice It Up!
It's that wondrous time of year again — a celebration for Florida foodies and visitors alike. The Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau is presenting Miami Spice for the 14th year in a row, and this year's offerings are better than ever before.
From August 1 to September 30, diners can indulge in multi-course meals at some of the best restaurants in town for only $39 per person for dinner or $23 per person for lunch. Prices include an appetizer, entrée, and dessert, while some restaurants throw in even more.
This year, almost 200 restaurants are participating in the program, spanning from South Miami all the way up to Sunny Isles, showcasing the best cuisine Miami has to offer from world-renowned chefs around the city. Whether you've been dying to check out the newest hotspot or saving up for a well-known classic, now is the time to dive in and experience all the restaurant scene has to offer at a very reasonable price.
Newcomers and mainstays alike are taking part in the fun, with numerous standouts to consider. See and be seen at the award-winning restaurants of the Fontainebleau (Scarpetta, StripSteak by Michael Mina, Mina 74, and Hakkasan), enjoy top-shelf steak at New York transplant Quality Meats on South Beach, say bonjour to French favorite Brasserie Central in Merrick Park, be in the know at downtown hotspot Fooq's, travel to Central America with Brickell's Peruvian gem Coya, or get your seafood on at newly opened Izzy's Fish & Oyster Bar or Sushi darling Zuma. The options and cuisines are truly limitless.
Thanks to sponsors like Citibank, Stella Artois, and Terrazas de los Andes, Miami Spice is sure to be hotter than ever (and that's saying a lot). For a list of participating venues, menus, and scheduled events, visit www.ilovemiamispice.com.
