Busch Gardens’ Food and Wine Festival has returned, open Fridays through Sundays through July 2. The festival gives theme-park guests a chance to taste cultural cuisine from continents including Europe, Asia and North America.
The park recently invited media members for an inside look at the festival. Daily Press reporters Natalie Joseph and Samantha Camilletti toured food kiosks and were introduced to festival additions.
The tour featured a stop at Castle O’Sullivan in the Ireland section of the park, home to a new six-course wine and food tasting show that features live music. The tour also included an interview with the park’s executive chef, stops at the new India and Island Freeze kiosks and food samples from the Mediterranean, Asia, India and Spain kiosks.
