Eat And Drink Your Way Through Swiss International's New Lounges

Nobody really enjoys a layover — even first and business class lounges can be sadly disappointing. But if you find yourself in Zürich airport, be sure to clock in a few hours at the newly-opened Swiss International Air lounges. Spread over 3,600 square feet with views of the Swiss Alps, the design is in a league of its own.

The newly-opened lounges are all located in a new terminal located close to the international gates. Whatever your frequent flier status, there is a lounge for (almost) everyone: the Business Class Lounge, Senators Lounge, and First Class Lounge. All are incredibly spacious, with various zones where you can work or rest, but what really sets these lounges apart are the food and drink options.

The Business Class lounge has fresh meals prepared by chefs right in front of you, as well as a selection of indulgent and healthy premade bites. The Senator Lounge also has fresh meals, as well as a fancy whisky bar that offers 120 different whiskies. The real star of the show is obviously the First Class Lounge, which has its own five-star à la carte menu, a Champagne bar, and the option to enjoy a raclette or fondue served on the terrace in the wintertime. It's the perfect way to pretend you are staying in a Swiss Alpine village, when in reality, you're waiting for your next flight out.
