Chef Michael Mina Opens Pizza & Burger Restaurant In The Historic Fontainebleau Miami Beach

Celebrity Chef Michael Mina has added yet another jewel to his restaurateur crown, Pizza & Burger – Michael's Backyard Kitchen, a pop-up located inside of Michael Mina 74 at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach. "Pizza & Burger was truly inspired by what our family cooks together at our own summer backyard get-togethers," says chef Michael Mina. "Sammy is my burger maniac, Anthony adores pizza, and Pizza & Burger's menu is very much modeled after many fun-filled summer days at home with family and friends."

Looking over the menu we found a plethora of seasonal comfort food leaping off the menu at us and onto our awaiting plates. Enjoy a showcase of made-from-scratch pizzas; design your own salad from a large selection of fresh, local ingredients; or nibble on an array of small bites. Sit back, enjoy, and sip on a handcrafted cocktail, wine by the glass, or — because of MM74's reputation as one of Miami's foremost gastropubs — a huge selection of local beers."In keeping with the concept, prices are affordable, approachable, and encourage return dining," says Philip Goldfarb, President and COO of Fontainebleau Miami Beach. "Pizza & Burger is perfect for friendly get-togethers, family dinners, after-work drinks and bites, and should be a great addition to our summer offerings."

Dive into a perfectly prepared medium-rare dry-aged burger topped with crispy pork belly, spicy ketchup, onions, and creamy white cheddar. Or indulge in The Cuban Frita made with beef, chorizo, smoked paprika aioli, and crispy potato to get a real taste of Miami. If you are in the mood for a pizza, have them fire up "The Surf." This melt-in-your-mouth pizza with butter poached lobster, chanterelle charred corn, and summer truffle will please your palate with ease.

Regardless of your dish selection, you are certain to adore the historic Fountainebleau Miami Beach, which has featured a spectacular blend of Golden Era glamour and modern luxury ever since it first opened in 1954. Grab a seat and then sip, savor, and enjoy.
