Toronto Pearson International Airport Transformation

Travel restaurateur OTG Management has opened two new Apropos bars in Terminal 1 of Toronto Pearson International Airport.

As reported by The Foodie Report, Apropos is part of what OTG Management's plans to introduce an extensive chef driven dining program to Toronto Pearson.

The goal of the program is to create dining experience that reflect the culture and taste of Toronto.

Apropos was developed by John Szabo, Canada's first Master Sommelier, Brock Shepherd, founder of Kensington Brewing Company in Toronto, and OTG concept chef Michael Coury. Together they bring their knowledge of the region to create a cocktail menu and wine list as well as small plates travelers can enjoy before their flight.

OTG Management CEO Rick Blatstein says "Apropos creates an immediate transformation of the terminal space."

Travelers will be able to take advantage of the newest technology by using one of the iPads found across the airport. OTG hopes to have 2,500 iPads in place by the first quarter of 2014.
