Sweetie Meat Bites

Think devils on horseback meets pigs in a blanket. These will disappear as appetizers so fast. They’re also great to serve for breakfast or brunch.

  • 1 pound sliced bacon, each slice cut in half vertically
  • One 16-ounce package miniature smoked sausage links
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar


Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Wrap a halved bacon slice around each sausage. Place on foil-lined baking pans. Sprinkle brown sugar over bites. Bake, uncovered, for 30-40 minutes or until the bacon is crisp.
