Strawberry Vinegar Recipe



A basic infused vinegar from Miraval Resort & Spa in Tucson, Arizona that can be altered using different flavors, depending on your taste and preference.


1 cup seasoned rice vinegar

1/4 cup strawberries

3 mint leaves

Alternative Flavorings:

Lemongrass and ginger

Fresh herb and garlic



Vanilla bean

Dried fruits

Sun-dried tomato

Citrus (orange/lemon/lime)


Sterilize a glass container by either submerging it in boiling water for 5 minutes or running it through the dishwasher.

In a small saucepan over medium heat, heat the vinegar to a simmer.

Place the remaining ingredeints into the sterilized container. Using a funnel, slowly pour the vinegar into the container and let cool.

Seal tightly and store at room temperature for at least 24 hours prior to serving. The vinegar can be stored in a cool, dry place for up to 2 months.
