Ingredients

1 1/2 ounce vanilla vodka
1 ounce strawberry syrup
1 ounce fresh-squeezed meyer lemon juice
1 -inch slice of grilled poundcake, for garnish
1 tablespoon hand-whipped cream

Directions

Make a simple syrup and while warm, not hot, add chopped strawberries, marinate overnight, strain, and use. Combine all ingredients, and garnish with a 1-inch slice of grilled poundcake and a tablespoon (or more!) of hand-whipped cream.
