Take a classic strawberry-banana smoothie and transform it into a frozen treat. Not only is it full of healthy ingredients like low-fat yogurt and fruit, but the taste is cool and refreshing on a hot summer day.
- 1 Cup diced fresh strawberries
- 1 1/2 Cup low-fat organic vanilla yogurt
- 1 1 ripe banana, sliced
- 1 Tablespoon sugar or sweetener of your choice
- 1 Teaspoon vanilla extract
Add all ingredients in blender and blend to combine. Freeze in popsicle molds. Mix and match with your favorite fruits and yogurt! If you don't have a mold, simply fill a paper cup with the ice pop mixture and insert a stick and freeze until hardened.
