Last month, The Daily Meal's travel editor Lauren Mack wrote about chef Nyesha Arrington’s Foie Festival at Wilshire Restaurant. The party, which was Arrington’s and several other top LA chefs' stand against the foie gras ban set to take place on July 1, featured a six-course menu highlighting the controversial yet highly enjoyed delicacy.
According to Grub Street, the protestors lingering outside did little to deflect the chefs' special evening. Cocktail hour was followed by a luxurious dinner crafted by Arrington and the genius’ behind LA restaurants Fig, Rays & Stark Bar, Mezze, Playa, and Public Kitchen and Bar.
