Simpsons Theme Park Expands With Fast Food Boulevard

In case you ever craved a Lard Lad donut or perhaps a swig of Duff Beer, it's all possible at Universal Orlando's new Springfield expansion.

The amusement park has been working on an expansion to The Simpsons Ride, and while the complete expansion is not yet completed, Fast Food Boulevard official opened over the weekend.

Inside the Magic was on hand to capture the new boulevard, which recreates Moe's Tavern, Krusty Burger, Cletus' Chicken Shack, the Frying Dutchman, Luigi's Pizza, and Lard Lad into real restaurants, all following the same thought process as the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, which has made butterbeer a national phenomenon.

Now, Simpsons fans can get their hands on Krusty-Partially-Gelatinated-Non-Dairy-Gum-Based-Beverage, giant donuts from Lard Lad, and even Duff Beer, brewed for Universal Orlando. Luckily, Inside the Magic reports that Krusty the Clown will not be serving zoo animals, road kill, and insects (although we're sure the UN would be interested in the last item).
