A Romantic Dinner Date Playlist

A night out on the town for cocktails and dinner can be fun. But with the deafening restaurant noise, the tiny tables crammed into an even more snug space, and the awkward dates around you, taking your date out can sometimes put a damper on your evening's plans. So, instead of dining out, treat your date to a romantic dinner at home.

After you've planned and prepared the meal, there are a couple of things to keep in mind to really set a romantic scene: lighting and music. Read more of our tips for setting the scene for date night, then create your own playlist, starting with these date night songs below that are favorites below recommended by TDM editors. (Adding something by Michael Bolton is up to you.) Then be sure to read up on what date night mistakes you should avoid making to ensure your night goes smoothly.
