Robert Pattinson Parties Like Gatsby In Los Angeles
"A Little Party Never Killed Nobody," right R-Patz? According to Marie Claire, Pattinson hosted a 1920s celebration at his house in the Los Feliz district of Los Angeles this past weekend. The party was for friend and Arbitrage director Nick Jarecki's 34th birthday. Like any Gatsby-themed party, the gathering attracted tons of famous folk, who, according to Hollywoodlife.com, included Grammy-winner Dianne Warren, actress/singer Lisa Zane, actor Warren Beatty, and 50 Shades of Grey author E.L. James. Perez Hilton reports, "[Rob] also had [his guests] all decked out in their best 1920s outfits for the theme party."
Singer, songwriter, and party guest Todd Michael Schultz spoke to HollywoodLife.com about Pattinson's themed party, which has been deemed by many as the party to be at this weekend. Schultz dished, "It was a really good party. It was in Rob's backyard — he had catered tacos. Lisa Zane sang a few songs. It was all smart people — trust me, the best people, from beginning to end. I got home at 3 or 4 a.m." Schultz, clearly excited by the Gatsby theme, even took to Twitter commenting, "That was a real freakin' party... everywhere you turn... someone super smart and talented and interesting to talk to."
It appears as though Pattinson went all-out for a true Gatsby shindig. From the backyard setup on a warm summer night to intellectual and industry-type attendees, fun finger food, the party's late hours, and guests dressing the part, the bash equaled pure Gatsby perfection. All that was missing was Pattinson's Daisy, on-and-off girlfriend Kristen Stewart.
