West Hollywood's Bagatelle Offers New Brunch Menu

West Hollywood's French Mediterranean Bagatelle has launched a new brunch menu. The multi-level open dining space is all white with big ornate chandeliers and prints of the Mona Lisa and Ziggy Stardust. The upper level houses a long marble bar with the lower level serving dishes to diners in booths and tables. A DJ spins very loud music, great for a party atmosphere but not the spot if you want to have a serious discussion over your Benedict and Champagne.

The new brunch menu includes a bibb lettuce, endive, or crab salad and tuna or beef tartare for appetizers. Main courses include a Croque monsieur and madame; French toast; truffle scrambled eggs served with a simple salad; eggs with spinach or smoked salmon; a lobster Benedict; a burger with truffle cheese; steak frites and steak and eggs; and a truffle roasted chicken. You can also add truffles, either black Periford or white Alba, to any dish at market price. Sides include pommes frites, applewood bacon, haricots-verts, spinach, chicken sausage, and truffled fries.

Cocktails are inventive including a Remember When with Veev Acai Vodka, prickly pear, Aperol, and lemon juice; the Girl From Rio with Veev Acai Vodka, serrano pepper, passion fruit, and lemon; and The Fuzzy Bee with Hendrick's Gin, lavender, honey, and Champagne. There's also a nice choice of bubbly to go with the new brunch dishes.

Bagatelle is located at 755 N. La Cienega Boulevard.
