Napili Kai Beach Resort's Old School Maui Atmosphere And Oceanfront Eatery
Located over 10 oceanfront acres of Maui's best snorkeling, swimming, and paddle boarding beaches, Napili Kai Beach Resort has been hosting generations of visitors for more than fifty years. The resort offers 163 studio and one- and two-bedroom suites overlooking the tranquil Napili Bay. Almost all units have ocean views and are equipped with full kitchens.
Guests can also enjoy four swimming pools, shuffleboard courts, a gym, boutique day spa, an 18-hole putting green, botanical tours, and various barbeque areas. The resort also houses the Hale Aloha Pavilion which hosts a variety of concerts featuring local musicians.
The resorts open aired Sea House Restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner with stunning views of the bay. Breakfast options include a wide range of omelettes made with local ingredients such as Portuguese sausage, pineapple, and Kalua pork. Menu standouts include the oven baked eggs, ham, and Portuguese sausage Ali'I breakfast; corned beef hash; and jasmine rice with bamboo, Portuguese sausage, rock shrimp, pineapple, and eggs. Pancakes are also plentiful, and varieties include chocolate macadamia nut, buttermilk, and banana options.
The dinner menu also highlights local Maui ingredients with dishes like poke ahi tuna nachos; a seafood trio with blue crab, ahi poke, and Creole poached shrimp; Maui beach balls with rock shrimp and Kula corn; fisherman's stew with lobster, scallops, shrimp, and crab; herb grilled or macadamia nut crusted catch of the day; and pineapple tiramisu, caramel macchiato ice cream pie, or Kilaue chocolate lava cake for dessert.
