Restaurant Critic Roundup: Le Bernardin Gets 4 Stars Again

Every Wednesday, The Daily Meal rounds up a slew of restaurant reviews across America. Ratings range from stars to bells to beans, but each review offers specialized local insight into the food, atmosphere, and service of eateries being reviewed and the critics eating at them.

This week, Pete Wells stepped in line with the three previous reviews of Le Bernardin by The New York Times, awarding it four stars. The Times' Dining section also finally saw the end of the $25 & Under column, and the beginning of a new toothless starless restaurant column by Ligaya Mishan.

In New Orleans, Brett Anderson mistakenly ordered "greens" hoping for a salad, and was surprised instead with collards. In Chicago, a recently opened European restaurant fits in perfectly in Little Italy. Delve into the thoughts of Steve Cuozzo from the New York Post and Adam Platt from New York Magazine who both review the newly opened NoMad, and come out with different ratings. The pair agreed on the lobster, but had differing views on the chicken.

From the East Coast to the West Coast, from North to South, the weekly restaurant critic roundup is here for all of your dining out needs.
