Rene Redzepi To Open Noma-Inspired Pop-Up For Olympics
Olympic enthusiasts and London tourists, book your tickets now: famed chef Rene Redzepi, head of "the world's best restaurant" Noma, will open a pop-up restaurant this summer in time for the Olympics.
Announced today, "A Taste of Noma at Claridge's" will host a five-course dinner for 10 days, from July 28th to August 6th. The dinner, which costs £195 per person, will be the first time Redzepi will take his Noma menu abroad, reports Businessweek. Said Redzepi to Businessweek, "It's very exciting for us to dip our toes in another country and to see what we can create."
The announcement comes just before the World's 50 Best Restaurants are announced for the year on April 30; time will tell is Redpezi will hold onto the "best in show" for the third year in a row.
In town for the Olympics? Better order tickets in advance; you can register for the event beforehand to express your interest in going. And we know that Noma can book up — the Denmark outpost gets nearly 100,000 inquiries a moth for reservations.
