Who says you need alcohol to have a good time? Next time you’re entertaining, consider this vanilla grape mocktail. It may be free of booze, but with two of America’s favorite flavors blended together, this drink is all the party you need.This recipe is courtesy of Sparkling Ice.

Ingredients
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 vanilla bean, split lengthwise
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 ounce lemon juice
  • 1 ounce vanilla syrup
  • 4 ounce grape raspberry sparkling ice
  • lemon twist, for garnish
Directions
  1. In a small saucepan, combine the sugar and water.
  2. Scrape the seeds from the vanilla bean into the pan and throw in the pod.
  3. Heat the mixture over medium-high, stirring occasionally, until the sugar has dissolved.
  4. Reduce the heat to low and let simmer, about 10–15 minutes.
  5. Remove from the heat, discard the vanilla bean pod and stir in the vanilla extract.
  6. Let cool.
  7. Store in the refrigerator.
  8. Fill a Collins glass with ice.
  9. Pour lemon juice and vanilla syrup over ice, then stir.
