- 1 Tablespoon Olive oil
- 6 pork chops, boneless
- 1/2 Cup apple juice
- 1/4 Cup apple cider vinegar
- 1 1/2 Cup vegetable broth
- 2 Tablespoons brown sugar
- 1/2 Teaspoon salt
- 1/2 Teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 Teaspoon garlic
- 2 red delicious apples, cored, and sliced
- 1 red onion, sliced
Heat the pork chops in a skillet with the 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Brown on both sides and set aside.
Mix the apple juice, vinegar, broth, brown sugar, salt, pepper, and garlic in the slow cooker — mix until the brown sugar is dissolved. Add the pork chops in and top with apples and red onion.
Set the slow cooker on low for 5 hours, turning the pork chops in the sauce twice during that time.
Place a thermometer in the center of the pork chop and if it reads 145 degrees F. it is done.
