Super Simple Whole Grilled Branzino

Simply stuffed with slices of lemons, these whole grilled branzino make an impressive and easy grilled dish.

  • 2 whole branzino, cleaned
  • 1 Tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 Teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 Teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 lemon, sliced into ¼” thick rounds


Prepare your grill, heating it to medium-high.

Drizzle the olive oil over the skin of both fish. Season the inside of each fish with half the salt and pepper. Place the lemon slices inside each fish.

Grill for about 5 minutes on each side, until the skin is crisp and the flesh is opaque.
