Strawberry-Pea Smoothie Recipe

Peas are terrifically healthy. They're packed with vitamin K and B vitamins, and are naturally sweet. It may seem strange to put them in a smoothie, but they're delicious!

Ingredients

  • 1 Cup fresh garden peas, steamed and cooled
  • 1 Cup strawberries
  • ¼ inch fresh ginger, peeled and coarsely chopped
  • ½ Cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 medium banana
  • ½ Cup ice

Directions

Blend all ingredients in an electric blender until smooth.
