Sunshine, scorching weather, and ice-cold drinks — the perfect ingredients for a great summer. It officially starts June 21, so get ready with this strawberry-lemon soda recipe.
Notes
For an adult beverage, substitute a bottle of sparkling wine instead of sparkling water.
Ingredients
- 1 Pound organic strawberries, hulled
- 1 Cup lemonade, chilled
- 1 Tablespoon sugar
- 1 bottle sparkling water, chilled*
- 1/4 Cup fresh mint leaves
Directions
In a blender, place strawberries, lemonade, and sugar, and process until puréed. Strain through a fine mesh sieve and transfer mixture to a large pitcher. Gently stir in sparkling water until blended. Serve over ice, garnished with mint leaves
