Cherry season is finally here, and this sorbet is a perfect way to celebrate the warm weather. This recipe from Kiwi and Carrot uses Orgain vegan protein powder to sneak 21 grams of organic protein into this tasty sorbet. Cherries packed with antioxidants and maple syrup in place of refined sugar make this sweet treat virtually guilt-free. There’s no excuse not to make this dessert.

Ingredients
  • 3/4 cup coconut milk
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 3/4 cup maple syrup
  • 4 1/2 cup frozen sweet cherries
  • 2 scoops orgain sweet vanilla bean protein powder
  • 1/8 cup fresh mint (depending on preference, add as much as 1/4 cup)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Directions
  1. Combine all the ingredients in a high-powered blender and mix until smooth.
  2. Place in an airtight container with a lid and freeze overnight.
  3. Remove from the freezer and allow the sorbet to soften slightly before serving.
