Baileys Original Irish Cream 

St. Patrick’s Day is almost upon us, and with a reported 127 million Americans celebrating the holiday in 2015, this year, instead of toasting with standard Irish beer, join in on the fun with Baileys, the Original Irish Cream Liqueur! Ingredients

For the zested orange crème:

  • 1 Ounce heavy cream
  • 1/2 Ounce simple syrup
  • 2 large orange zests

For the cocktail:

  • 3/4 Ounces Irish whiskey
  • 1/4 Ounce Italian bitters, such as Campari
  • 1 3/4 Ounce freshly brewed coffee
  • 3/4 Ounces Irish cream, such as Baileys Original Irish Cream
  • 1 1/2 Ounce zested orange crème
  • Grated orange zest, for garnish

Directions

For the zested orange crème:

Combine heavy cream, simple syrup, and orange zests in a chilled cocktail shaker.

Shake well into whipped cream consistency.

For the cocktail:

Combine Irish whiskey, Campari, and coffee in a footed coffee mug and stir.

Pour in Baileys Original Irish Cream. Top with zested orange crème. Garnish with grated orange zest.
