Slow Cooker Apple Cranberry Cider


Anything that can be made in a slow cooker is ideal for cold weather; just add and let it simmer. Why should apple cider be left out of that treatment? We’ll take two. 


4 cinnamon sticks (broken)

1 teaspoon whole cloves

2 quarts apple cider

12 ounces cranberry juice

2 tablespoons honey

1 tablespoon brown sugar

2 cups of fresh cranberries


Wrap cinnamon sticks and cloves in cheesecloth and tie the packet closed with string. \

Combine cider, cranberry juice, honey, brown sugar, cranberries, and seasoning bag in the slow cooker.

Cover and cook on high heat for 2 hours until cider has reached desired temperature.

Discard seasoning bag and serve.
