Roger Sterling's Party Nuts

Nuts

Whether you're of the opinion that Roger Sterling is a bit of a nut or not, we all know that this is one man who knows how to party — and make a stiff drink. OK, maybe Don does too...

Here, a recipe from Tabasco that celebrates all things Roger Sterling.

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon hot sauce, preferably Tabasco chipotle pepper sauce
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups lightly salted cashews
  • 2 cups oven-toasted rice cereal squares

Directions

Preheat the oven to 325 degrees.

Melt the butter in a 2-quart saucepan over low heat (or microwave in a large glass bowl). Stir in the hot sauce, chili powder, and salt until combined. Stir in the cashews and cereal squares until well mixed.

Spoon the mixture onto a large cookie sheet. Bake 15 minutes or until the mixture is toasted, stirring occasionally.
