Cream Cheese Alfredo Sauce
The next time you’re going to make Alfredo sauce, make it with cream cheese. It’s rich, decadent, and your Alfredo sauce will coat the pasta perfectly.
- 1 package bow tie pasta
- 1/2 Cup butter
- 3/4 Cups cream cheese, softened
- 3/4 Cups milk
- Garlic clove, minced
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
Place pasta in salted boiling water and cook as directed on the package.
Combine the butter, cream cheese, milk, and garlic in a medium sauce pan. Bring to a boil over medium low heat. Season with salt and pepper.
Continue to cook stirring occasionally until everything is incorporated and the sauce has thickened.
Serve sauce over pasta.
