The Red Lady is made with gin, Cointreau (an orange-flavored liqueur), fresh squeezed lemon, three drops of orange bitters and muddled red bell pepper. It’s appropriately garnished with a slice of red bell pepper, too.

Ingredients

  • 2 Ounces gin, preferably The Botanist
  • 1 Ounce triple sec, preferably Cointreau
  • 1 Ounce fresh squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 red bell pepper
  • 3 drops of orange bitters

Directions

Muddle the red bell pepper in a shaker.

Add remaining ingredients.

Shake without ice.

Add ice.

Shake again.

Double strain into a coupe glass.

Garnish with a strip of julienned red bell pepper.
