Ingredients

  • 4 packages instant ramen, without spice packet
  • Olive oil
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • ½ teaspoon oregano
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup ricotta
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Butter
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Favorite pizza toppings

Directions

Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.

Cook ramen noodles according directions on package. Drain, rinse, and set aside in a warm place.

In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add garlic and red pepper flakes and cook, stiring occasionally for one minute. Remove from heat, add cooked ramen noodles, Parmesan, and oregano. Toss until well combined.

Butter a 10-inch springform pan or cake tin. Transfer noodle mixture to the pan and spread evenly.

Whisk eggs and season with salt and pepper. Pour mixture over noodles.

Place noodles in the oven and bake for about five minutes.

Season ricotta with salt and pepper.

Remove noodles from oven. Spread ricotta mixture evenly over the noodle crust. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top of the ricotta. Top with favorite pizza toppings and return pan to oven. Continue to cook for 10 to 15 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.

Remove pan from the oven. Let cool for about ten minutes. Cut pizza into wedges and serve.

Pressed for time on a busy weeknight, but don't want to settle for frozen pizza? Start with ready-made pizza crusts. You'll still be able to add your own sauce and fresh ingredients for a homemade taste.

Pizza Cooking Tip

If you're attempting to make your own dough, make sure to keep your work surface lightly dusted with flour, or the dough may stick.
