- 4 eggs
- 1/2 Cup whole milk
- 1/2 Cup heavy cream
- 1/2 Cup pumpkin purée
- 1 Tablespoon pumpkin pie spice, preferably McCormick
- 16 slices bread
- Maple syrup, to serve
In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, cream, pumpkin purée, and pumpkin pie spice until smooth.
Dip each slice of bread in the pumpkin-egg mixture, and cook on a hot, greased griddle or skillet. After 2 minutes, flip the bread over and cook for a further 2 minutes until golden. Serve immediately, drizzled with maple syrup.
