- 1 Ounce Silver Bacanora (An agave-derived liquor made in the Mexican state of Sonora)
- 1 Ounce Reposado Sotol (A spirit made from wild-harvested agave plants found in the Chihuahua region)
- 1 Ounce orange liqueur (Such as Cointreau or Grand Marnier)
- 1/2 Ounce lime juice
- 1/2 Ounce lemon juice
- Kosher salt with chamoy (pickled apricot or plum syrup)
- Dried chilhuacle chile
Prepare a stemmed cocktail glass by chilling it, then hold it upside down to briefly smoke the interior with a lit chilhuacle chile.
In a cocktail shaker, combine the two agave spirits, orange liqueur, lime and lemon juice, and ice.
Shake, then strain into the glass.
For a slighter sweeter version, add agave syrup before shaking.
