Ingredients
- 1/4 cup plain kefir, such as lifeway whole milk kefir
- 2 1/2 cup cooked chickpeas, drained and rinsed, if canned
- 2 tablespoon tahini
- 1/4 cup pickled banana peppers
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 3 tablespoon basil pesto, to taste
- 1/2 lemon, squeezed
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions
- Combine all ingredients into a food processor and blend until creamy. Serve with warm pita bread, crudités or crackers.
