Perfect Hot Chocolate
If the weather outside is frightful, do not fret. This classic recipe will hit the spot!

Ingredients
- 1 ounce dark or semisweet chocolate
- 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tablespoon superfine sugar
- 1 pinch sea salt
Directions
- Over low heat in a small saucepan, combine chocolate, cocoa powder, and half of the milk. Stir continuously with a whisk until chocolate is completely melted. Add remaining milk and pinch of sea salt. Gently simmer over medium-low heat until warmed through. Stir in superfine sugar to taste.
- Pour hot chocolate into a mug and top with whipped cream or chocolate covered marshmallows. Garnish with a small peppermint candy cane. Serves 1.
